General Troubleshooting Techniques

Update Chrome OS: Make sure your Chromebook is running the latest version of Chrome OS.
Go to Settings > About Chrome OS > Check for updates and install any available updates.
A software update can often address compatibility issues and bug fixes that may affect the touchscreen
Clear Cache and Cookies:
On your computer, open Chrome:
At the top right, click “More” (3 dots)
Click “More tools”
Click “Clear browsing data”
At the top, choose a time range: Select “All Time”
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes
Click “Clear data”
Try Power Cycling Device:
Turn the Device off and wait 60 seconds.
Turn the Device back on.
