Q: How do you measure academic growth?

FEV Tutor tracks academic growth collaboratively with our school and district partners using a ‘multiple measures approach’ including:

• State Test Results

• Benchmark Assessment Results

• Unit/Common Assessment Data

• Pre and Post Diagnostics

• Exit Ticket Scores - daily formative assessments

As a Best Practice, we conduct a ‘Growth and Impact Analysis’ with each one of our school and district partners looking at correlations between FEV Tutor participation and tangible measures of student achievement (ex. State and Benchmark Test Results) . Our Data Analytics Team typically does any of the ‘heavy-lifting’ required to combine FEV Tutor performance/participation data with preexisting school or district data. Typically, our collaborative growth analytics demonstrate a direct correlation between FEV Tutor participation and accelerated learning outcomes on State and Benchmark assessments which we present collaboratively with our partners while organically growing our partnered programs together to impact more students.
